AS MISS VIRGINIA TEEN VOLUNTEER I . . .
As Miss Virginia Teen Volunteer I want to be known as the title holder who was independent and brought innovative ideas to the organization. I’m a hard worker and have the mindset of always wearing the crown, and representing the Miss Virginia Volunteer Organization with passion and determination. As the Director of a nonprofit as a high school student, I understand what it means to be a leader and more importantly, a listener.
MISS VIRGINIA TEEN VOLUNTEER
As the founder of nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit, BabyIn BabyOut, an organization that spreads awareness about the dangers of keeping babies in hot cars and reminds parents everywhere to “look before they lock”, I am working to prevent pediatric vehicular heatstroke globally. With my platform, I distribute free car hangtags that read “baby in” and “baby out” on either side to remind parents to look in the backseat. To date, I’ve distributed more than 60,000 hangtags and am proud BabyIn BabyOut is a nationwide nonprofit. Families in South America, Russia, and Asia are using the colorful hangtags as I spread the word with speeches and media interviews.
