My passion for flying airplanes led me to founding  Soar to Your Dreams, a program focused on providing resources, inspiration, and mentorship to young girls interested in pursuing careers where women are underrepresented. As Miss Virginia Teen Volunteer, I plan to build upon the work I have started by creating more opportunities for youth across this state to embrace the view from above. I will continue encouraging and inspiring young girls through speaking engagements, STEM programs, and teaching opportunities at camps and events. Every day I SOAR by seeking out any opportunity to volunteer or educate myself further, by overcoming obstacles through my flight training, by being courageous when I am in the airplane flying solo, and by determining every day to reach further than I did the day before. I believe in the mission of Miss Virginia Teen Volunteer to SERVE and to give back to the community, and I am so excited to teach more young women that their wings already exist—all they have to do is fly!

• Young Eagles flight helper for Special Education Equal Development Society.

• I volunteer with 4th-5th grade girls and boys monthly in a STEM program called GEAR (GuidingEngineering,Aerospace,Robotics) at Hillsboro Charter Academy in Hillsboro,VA

• I planned and hosted a Girl Scout Aviation Day where Girl Scouts from across the state attended and earned their Aviation Fun Badge

• I am partnering with Udvar Hazy National Air and Space Museum for educational opportunities at their flight simulator lab,and SHECan Camp

• Speaker for over 200 campers and 40 staff at Camp Summer Magic

• I provide an Aviation Scholarship database on my Air Ambition website airambition.org

• I traveled to Nashville and California,volunteering for Girls in Aviation Day
