AS MISS VIRGINIA
VOLUNTEER I . . .

As Miss Virginia Volunteer I am honored to carry the legacy of an organization that invests so much in giving back to its communities through volunteerism and empowering young women. I am using my platform to focus on strengthening the foundation of our communities by advocating for women’s health and wellness. Empowering women at our core enables us to grow and improve in all areas of life, furthering our ability to go out and make a positive impact on the world. My crown and title is not just for me, it’s for all women!

MY PLATFORM

RAISE: Advocating for Women’s Health

When women are healthier, children are healthier, families are stronger, economies are stronger, and communities are stronger. I truly believe it’s important to invest in women’s health appropriately in order to move our country and the world in a positive direction.

Founded on the core values of Resilience, Ambition, Integrity, Support, and Empowerment—RAISE: Advocating for Women’s Health serves to elevate people’s understanding about the importance of overall health and wellness while emphasizing the importance of women’s health. According to The  Center for Global Health and Development,” Improving women’s health is critically important to almost every area of human development and progress. Healthy women help build healthy societies which are the foundation of successful economies, prosperity, political stability and social harmony.” I appreciate your support as I advocate for improved education in women’s health and wellness, bring awareness to issues that negatively impact women’s health, and support social programs that create continued improvements in women’s health.

MY PAGEANT EXPERIENCE

The experience I had during Miss Virginia Volunteer pageant week is unlike any other! The pageant was wonderful, but beyond that the bonds we were able to form as contestants and the community of empowerment have left such a lasting impact on me. I would encourage all young women to consider becoming a part of this organization, and I really can’t wait to see who’s next to wear the crown!
