KENNEDY FEWELL

As your Miss Virginia Volunteer, I am most excited to have the opportunity to do what I love—for the people I love. As a passionate servant leader, I see this program as a platform to use my God-given gifts in media, business, and communication to make a lasting impact.

During my tenure, I plan to further expand my service initiative More Than a First Impression– a program that helps students build confidence and self-worth through classroom visits, social media, and workshops– as well as working to expand the reach of the DARE program by building a statewide partnership through DARE and Miss Virginia Volunteer.

This program empowers me to turn vision into action. More than just a competition, Miss Virginia Volunteer gives me the space to serve with heart, lead with purpose, and leave a legacy that matters.

As the founder of More Than a First Impression, I help students build confidence and self-worth through classroom visits, social media, and workshops—reaching over 1,500 youth so far. By sharing my story, I show that obstacles don’t define us—our potential does. I also serve as an ambassador for The Salvation Army, having traveled across my home state and helped raise over $40,000 to support their mission. In Virginia, I plan to continue this work by partnering with the Red Shield Kids Club, using my platform to reach more children through mentorship and creative programming.
