We are so excited to have a lot of our previous contestants returning to compete in the Miss Virginia Volunteer Pageant next year!✨ We want to recognize each of them and all their hard work as they haven’t skipped a beat since the inaugural pageant. The returning ladies got to keep their sash and title and have been consistent at championing their cause and engaging in their communities.🤍
First up, we have Elizabeth Durham, Miss Chatham Volunteer!🥳 Elizabeth has been empowering others through her sorority at Virginia Tech as she is very passionate about her platform, “Read, Lead, Achieve”. We can’t wait to see what else you accomplish this year leading up to the pageant. Keep working hard!💪

Let’s give a huge MVV welcome to our 2022 Princess Program director, Elizabeth Ballard!✨
We are so thrilled to welcome such an accomplished and talented woman to our team, and we look forward to benefiting not only from her ample pageant experience but also from her positive attitude and contagious energy!
Elizabeth is the CEO and CFO of the Ballard Family and the former Director of Finance for Wythe County. She currently resides in Richmond with her college sweetheart (and husband of more than 15 years!) and her two wonderful children. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology with Decision Support Systems and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology, both from Virginia Tech, and she was able to pay off her student loans using scholarships earned from competing in pageants just like this one! She is an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, the treasurer of a local PTA, and she runs the Facebook page Mom Bod Love, where she posts free health & wellness advice and encouragement.
In addition to serving on numerous judges' panels, both locally and nationally, Elizabeth also has directed several preliminaries across the state of Virginia. She joined the Miss Virginia Volunteer Organization because she wants every young lady to have fun and grow, confident that they have a support system behind them for life!
This is awesome Elizabeth You will be a great asset to the organization.
